The largest event the West 90th Street Park Block Association conducts every year is the annual Halloween block party. Thousands of trick or treaters of all ages come to our block for candy and to see the decorations.

​The West 90th Street Park Block Association has a permit from the mayor’s office to close the street to parked cars and traffic. West 90th St. between Central Park West and Columbus Ave. will close from 3:30 pm - 9:00 pm on Halloween, Friday October 31st . Please move your vehicle before 3:30 PM on 10/31/25. You may continue parking on the street after 9:00 PM.
